How we help
In 2008, we assisted 50 children held in Tinsley House, plus another 28 who claimed to be children, but whose age the Home Office was disputing
We helped 568 detainees keep in touch with friends, family and solicitors by providing international phonecards in 2008.
GDWG provided clothing to almost 500 detainees in 2008, many of whom arrive at the centre with little more than what they are standing up in.
