This week Anna Pincus was appointed Gatwick Detainees Welfare Group’s (GDWG) new Director. Today is her first official day in the new post after working as Acting Director since December.

Anna has worked with GDWG for over 10 years as a senior caseworker and Refugee Tales manager. She has been working as Acting Director since the end of last year.

Anna expressed gratitude in response to many messages of congratulations from volunteers, “Your warm messages of support are so appreciated on the day I’ve been appointed Director of the GDWG. Thank you. It’s a pleasure to work in this new role alongside you and is an honour to take the charity forward“.

Staff, volunteers and trustees are all delighted that Anna will be our new Director and we are very much look forward to continuing our work together in this new chapter.
